Singapore PM greets Sheikh Hasina on re-election as PM

Prime Minister of Singapore Lee Hsien Loong congratulated Sheikh Hasina on her re-election as the Prime Minister of Bangladesh.

In a greeting letter written to Sheikh Hasina, Singapore’s PM said, “Under your leadership, Bangladesh has made steady progress in its economic and social development. Relations between Singapore and Bangladesh have deepened based on a firm foundation of strong people-to-people and cultural ties.”

“Our economic cooperation is expanding into new areas like port development, infrastructure, logistics, power, and renewable energy. I look forward to working with you to further enhance the friendship between our two countries,” he said.

“Please accept my warmest congratulations on your re-election as Prime Minister of Bangladesh. I wish you continued good health and success in your new term,” Singapore’s PM added.
